THINK SPRING!

November is here, the leaves have fallen, and old man winter is vastly approaching, so THINK SPRING!  That's right, we are thinking about spring already. And for you equipment lovers out there, here is our latest pump truck to leave Hydro. This big rig is now home in Indania but before it left it was equipped with a 300 HP John Deere engine, radio controls, 400 gallon fuel tank, Pioneer pump, 55' hydraulic folding boom, outriggers, pig launcher, and a Hydro pit pump with a 6" discharge.

World Dairy Expo / HR88SS

Last week we were on the road in Madison, Wisconsin at the World Dairy Expo.  During the week we had a chance to catch up with a lot of our current customers as well as meet some new customers. Throughout the week many of you asked, "What's new at Hydro?"  Well, as a matter of fact there is quite a bit going on with the recent release of the newest hose reel HR88SS and the latest buzz topic out in the shop "agitation products". We also have a few things going on with the pivot irrigation side at Hydro. The first change for fall is we now have a fall tune-up program for pivot irrigation.  Give us a call and we will make sure your pivot is ready for the cold months ahead. For you do-it-yourselfers out there, we also have our Think Spring promotion going November 26-30 in our Rockville location.  There you will find great part deals going on all week so you will be ready for next years growing season.  So enough with what is coming, here is what we have!

Hydro's HR88F hose reel for years has been considered the work horse of the hose reel fleet.  So when the question came up of how we can make this better, we started with the tires. The HR88F has always been fitted with duel low profile tires, which will still be an offering in the hose reel family, but now you also have the choice of ordering the HR88SS.  Running on a similar platform, the new HR88SS has “super singles” instead of the duel tires. 

Standing in at 12’ tall, this is the largest reel in the Hydro fleet of hose reels.  Standard features still include a hydraulic drive with 2 speed hydraulic motor, level wind for easy wind up, double 80 chain drive, brakes, and running lights.  This hose reel is DOT ready and safe for your highway travels.
